Welcome to the website of Harlow and Pannal Ash Residents Association
The Association is here to provide a voice for our community, representing members from Harlow Hill to Rossett Green and Arthurs Avenue to Castle Hill. We also have good working relations with neighbouring groups and Parish Councils where matters of common interest arise.
Recently much of our resources have been occupied with the draft Harrogate Local Plan and its major impact on the west side of Harrogate. The Local Plan timetable carries on through to Spring 2019 with the next major event being the examination of the final plan by a government inspector this winter (2018/2019).
We also track planning applications in our area and provide comments as appropriate.

Subscription Request
At the 2018 AGM it was agreed that, in order to help fund a study to challenge aspects of the Local Plan, subscriptions should be reinstated, that the subscription amount be increased from £2 to £4 and that, on a voluntary basis, members consider paying subscriptions in advance i.e. £20. Naturally members wishing to pay their subscription on an annual basis should do so; likewise we are more than happy to accept more than the due amount.
